Mission Statement
Our mission is to care for patients compassionately and effectively, with the highest medical and ethical standards. We seek to improve the ways in which health care is organized and delivered in our society so as to bring care within the reach of as many people as possible.
We are, by profession, caregivers who give primacy to our ethical and professional obligations. We assure that the manner in which our clinicians are paid will not interfere with clinical decision-making.
We acknowledge an obligation to be prudent in the expenditure of resources. We believe that we best accomplish this by prevention, early detection and effective treatment of illness among patients.
We support our clinical staff members in teaching, clinical research and community activities, including those that aim to reduce suffering among the most needy members of our society. Through our integrated multispecialty group practice, we offer the most well-coordinated care possible to each patient and we support innovation on the techniques and systems of caring for patients.
We do so in a spirit of teamwork with our colleagues and we are committed to creating an environment in which all staff are valued for their contribution and in which diversity and change are welcomed.
