Newton, MA (February 10, 2008) - Atrius Health, an alliance of five nonprofit multi-specialty medical groups with practice sites throughout eastern Massachusetts, is pleased to announce that Marci Sindell has been promoted to Chief External Affairs Officer.
“Ms. Sindell has established herself as a talented leader in our organization,” said Dr. Gene Lindsey, president and CEO of Atrius Health and Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. “Her work has helped build awareness about Atrius Health and its affiliates. I am confident that she will further our efforts to reach and respond to the communities we serve.”

In her new role, Sindell assumes responsibility for public policy and government relations. She will continue to lead the overall marketing program for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and Atrius Health including all aspects of internal communications, public relations, marketing communications and advertising, health education and promotion, community relations, patient relations, and general business development.
Prior to Atrius Health and Harvard Vanguard, Sindell served in a variety of senior management positions over 15 years in marketing, business development, process improvement, operations and human resources at Haemonetics Corporation in Braintree, MA. She previously held positions in operations at Millipore Corporation and Corning Glass Works.
Sindell currently serves on the Boston Leadership Board of the American Diabetes Association and the WBGH Corporate Executive Council.
