Boston Globe Names Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates “Top Places to Work 2011”
Newton, MA - (November 28, 2011) - Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, a non-profit multi-specialty medical group with offices across eastern Massachusetts and an affiliate of Atrius Health, has been named one of the “Top Places to Work 2011” in Massachusetts in the annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. This is the fourth consecutive year that Harvard Vanguard has been named to the list.
The Globe invited 1,076 companies to participate in the fourth annual “Top Places to Work” survey, of which 237 companies were selected to complete the entire evaluation process. Research partner WorkplaceDynamics, specialists in employee engagement and retention, asked more than 121,000 employees to grade their organization’s performance according to 24 distinct statements, such as "New ideas are encouraged at this company" to "It’s easy to tell my boss the truth.’’
Harvard Vanguard was ranked 15th among Massachusetts large employers, defined as those with 1,000 or more employees.
“We are proud that our organization has been on this list for four consecutive years and that our rating continues to improve each year,” said Dr. Gene Lindsey, president and CEO of Harvard Vanguard. “Our employees are the cornerstone of our success.”
To qualify for the Globe’s Top Places to Work, a company must have at least 100 employees in Massachusetts. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses. The online report can be found by clicking here.
