Harvard Vanguard Physician Receives Award From Society of General Internal Medicine

Dr. Thomas Sequist, of Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates’ Kenmore office, was awarded the Milton Hamolsky Junior Faculty Award for his presentation, "Missed Opportunities in the Management of Early Acute Ischemic Heart Disease in the Primary Care Setting."
The award was given by the Society of General Internal Medicine at their 2006 Annual Meeting. Award recipients are those who have exhibited exceptional leadership and iniatiative within the field of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Sequist joined Harvard Vanguard in 2002 as a Primary Care Physician. His interest in developing methods of improving patient care greatly support the overall patient centered care efforts of Harvard Vanguard.
