March 23, 2010 is Diabetes Alert Day

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) designated Tuesday, March 23rd as "Diabetes Alert Day" to bring awareness and generate support in the fight against diabetes. According to the ADA, 23.6 million Americans are living with diabetes and an additional 57 million, or one in five, are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
