As one of the commitments made by Atrius Health to provide outstanding obstetric and gynecological care, Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and Dedham Medical Associates have collaborated to offer women’s health services including obstetric and gynecological care and a certified nurse midwifery service. These are offered at both Dedham Medical Associates’ Dedham and Norwood practices.
Dedham Medical Associates is conveniently located Lyons Street, which is off of Rte. 135.
The clinicians at the Dedham practice attend deliveries at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Department phones are answered directly from 8:00am until 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, after which calls are transferred to our central, after-hours medical advice staff.
24/7 Medical Advice
Medical advice is available to Harvard Vanguard patients by telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you need medical advice after office hours, please call your doctor's office (unless it is a life-threatening emergency, in which case you should call 911). Your call will automatically be routed to our after-hours triage service staffed by Harvard Vanguard nurse practitioners and physician assistants with access to your electronic medical record.
