    MBTA INFO: From points South, take Red Line to the Davis Square station and exit from the Holland Street side.  Harvard Vanguard will be on your left as you exit the T-station.  Using the Blue Line, change to the Green Line at Government Center, go one stop to Park Street and change to the Red Line and proceed to the Davis Square station.  Using the Orange line, change at Downtown Crossing to the Red Line and proceed to the Davis Square station.

The Somerville practice of Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates has been caring for patients since 1990. The office is conveniently located in the heart of Davis Square, next to the MBTA station Holland Street exit (Red Line).

Our Somerville practice provides primary care for adults and children and a wide range of medical and surgical specialty care. Our practice has relationships with leading academic and community hospitals including Mount Auburn Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Boston Children’s Hospital.

Somerville Hours of Operation

Our building is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm during the week (6:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays). Department appointment hours can vary, so please refer to the department times below or call a specialty department listed in the right-hand menu.

Medical advice is available to Harvard Vanguard patients by telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you need medical advice after office hours, please call your doctor's office. Follow the phone prompts to be routed to our after-hours triage service staffed by Harvard Vanguard nurse practitioners and physician assistants with access to your electronic medical record. Click here to learn more.

Weekend & Holiday Urgent Care

All Harvard Vanguard patients have access to adult and pediatric weekend and holiday urgent care at 6 regionally located practices (Braintree, Chelmsford, Kenmore, Peabody, Somerville, and Wellesley).
